I am experiencing a drought at present at my feeders…suet which was going quickly has sat…seed too. Where are the birds? I must not be in a migration fly zone and maybe there is enough natural food that my visitors are feeding at a different buffet? It’s slightly disappointing though as I realize how much time I can spend gazing out the windows looking for new bird visitors. I have had to content myself with the butterflies which have been pretty plentiful here in northern Florida these days. We have been experiencing pretty warm days here still so my verbanas and milkweeds are still going strong!
What about you all are you seeing regulars at your feeders? Is there any advice for me? I feel like the lady in Mary Poppins…feed the birds….feed the birds..
